Labuat: Su primer concierto.

No estuve presente pero su luz irradiante llegó hasta lo más profundo de mi corazón. Labuat, acompañada de unos grandes músicos: Alberto Zapata (bajo, coros, dirección musical), Yuri Nogueira (batería, secuencias, percusión), Fran de Rivera (guitarras, coros), Pedro Andrea (guitarra, trompeta) e Iñaki García (teclados), dio un excelente repaso a todos y cada uno de los temas de su álbum "Labuat". En una sala llena de fans entusiastas, según he leído, sonó el ya famoso single "Soy tu aire", "Al margen", "De pequeño", "Ayer", "Mentiras a contraluz", "Lo raro es vivir", "Defíneme sin ti", "Carta de otoño", "Llueve mal", "Ya se verá". … Pero la noche aguardó algunas sorpresas. Allí también se oyó la magistral voz de Virginia cantando temas en inglés. Sonaron dos clásicos como "Oh Darling" (tema de The Beatles, compuesta por Paul McCartney y que apareció en 1969 en su cuarto álbum "Abbey Road") y "Goodnight Moon" (tema de Shivaree, un grupo de rock americano formado por Ambrosia Parsley -vocalista-, Danny McGough -teclado- y Duke McVinie -guitarra-. El grupo nació en 1999 y en sus canciones mezcla el rock con el country y el jazz. Este tema, el más famoso de todos, formó parte de la banda sonora de la pelicula de Quentin Tarantino "Kill Bill" y en nuestro país sonó en varios anuncios para marcas como la casa de relojes Breil). Y también nos deleitó con el tema inglés "I Call Your Name". Una canción que Virginia la convirtió en una obra maestra.
